About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Precision Inspection: Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of high-precision components using CMM, Vernier calipers, micrometers, and other advanced metrology tools.

• Welding & Fabrication QA: Oversee welding quality control (WPS/PQR) for structural and heavy fabrication, ensuring compliance with international standards.

• QMS Management: Maintain and improve our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System to ensure peak production efficiency and product quality.

• Technical Documentation: Prepare Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, and Manufacturing Data Records (MDR).

• Continuous Improvement: Conduct root cause analysis on machining vibrations or surface defects and implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) to optimize our Hwacheon and Trumpf production lines.

• Client & Supplier Liaison: Act as the technical point of contact for quality audits and discuss technical specifications (GD&T, welding symbols) with customers and sub-contractors.

Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years in a Precision Engineering or Sheet Metal Fabrication environment.

• Technical Skills: * Proficiency in reading complex engineering drawings (GD&T).

  • Familiarity with CNC Machining (Milling/Turning), Laser/Waterjet cutting, and Welding processes.

About the Role

This is a “Full-Cycle” role: you will be responsible for taking engineering drawings, creating the NC programs, setting up the machines, and executing the high-precision manufacture of components for the Aerospace, Defense, and Semi-conductor industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Advanced CAM Programming: Utilize Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM, or Delcam to create efficient 3-axis to 5-axis milling programs or complex turning/multi-tasking paths.
