2008

Proud to be selected by ST Kinetics as the key fabricator of major chassis and structural components for Bronco All Terrain Tracked Carriers (ATTC). The Bronco, which is developed and made in Singapore, enjoys worldwide recognition for its exceptional mobility across a wide range of terrain and climate. Most notably, the vehicles were deployed by the British army in Afghanistan.

2004

Established overseas manufacturing base in Wuxi, China, with the establishment of Wong Hing Long (Wuxi) Integrated Engineering Co., Ltd on 6 April 2004.

2003

Accreditation of ISO 9001 on 1 July 2003.

1995

Achieved ISO 9002 accreditation for excellence in manufacturing practices on 12 April 1995.

1988

Set up our second facility at 5 Defu Lane 4, Defu Industrial Estate and developed fully into a credible engineering firm with various in-house specialist units in material cutting, bending, turret punching, fabricating, welding and machining.

1983

Acquired our first major facility at 34 Defu Lane 7, Defu Industrial Estate.

1978

We worked closely with Yoshida Seiki Pte Ltd, a Japanese engineering firm and produced components for various automation systems, used by many renowned electrical and electronic manufacturers.

1972

We expanded into the business of fabricating military parts and components for Singapore’s defence industry. Over the past four decades, we continue to strengthen our strategic partnership with ST Kinetics, the land systems arm of Singapore listed ST Engineering, and played a role in the success of many of its flagship products.

1949

From humble beginnings in a shop house at Syed Alwi Road, Wong Hing Long began life through the production of customised metal spare parts for machine repair.
